Embarking on a 7-day Kilimanjaro expedition via the Lemosho route means kicking off from the western flank of Mount Kilimanjaro. During the initial 48 hours of the ascent, trekkers will traverse a dense rainforest zone, transitioning into heath and moorland adorned with numerous ferns, trees, and erica trees as they progress. The path, at times, becomes quite narrow with steep segments, leading through a variety of terrains. By the third day, the Lemosho route merges with the Machame route, presenting a more demanding challenge compared to the Marangu and Rongai alternatives.
